Attention Parents and Students:
School will be canceled on Friday, January 6, 2023 to accommodate for the family and friends of our high school principal Mike Thompson. Services will be held in the auditorium at 1:00pm with overflow seating in the cafeteria and gymnasium. Due to the construction of the new gym, parking will be available at the football field, east of the school, and street parking in front of the school on Main Street.

Attention Parents and Students:
As we resume classes tomorrow, we are all still deeply saddened by the passing of Mr. Thompson.
To support our students and faculty we will have counselors on site all day to help us process this tremendous loss. Optional care stations will be available for students to utilize the counselors in small group or an individual setting.
Please continue to pray for the Thompson family, our school, and community.

Attention parents, students, and staff: We have decided to move the homecoming coronation and dress up days to a later date. That date is yet to be determined. Thank you for understanding!

We are still in shock dealing with the unexpected loss of our HS Principal Mr. Thompson. Mr. Thompson was an amazing principal, teacher, coach, and friend, as well as a wonderful father and grandfather. He had the unique ability to see the good in everyone and every situation. His booming voice will be deeply missed echoing through our hallways and at all of our students’ sports and activities. He always put students first and went the extra mile to ensure their success. Please continue to pray for the Thompson family, our school, community, and all of the individuals that Mike impacted during his life. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew him.
