Last week the Medford FFA chapter attended the 96th State FFA Convention. Brayde Mennem, Andrew Yunker, and Colton Conrady received their State FFA Degrees and Kaylee Junghanns and Brayde Mennem placed 4th in the State FFA Talent Contest. Great representation of our incredible FFA chapter as the state level!



Kindergarten-8th grade students attending the AR trip May 11 & 12:
The buses returning from these trips will not be in Medford until 4:00. Please pick up your students at the school at that time. The Wakita route will run again at 4:00.

Lip Sync Competition this Wednesday!


Congratulations Eli Gonzales! 4th in the 200m, 2nd in the 400m and State Campion 800m with a State Track Meet record!


Eli Gonzales wins the class 1A boys 800m run breaking the school and state meet record in a time of 1:56.91. An incredible performance by the young man.
Skylar Anderson finishes 6th in the discus medaling and throwing her personal best of 105 feet 4”.
Great job to both athletes in representing our school! Proud of you both!

Pride of Medford Band received a 1 at the Tri-State Music Festival!


4th grade completed their State Presentation Projects this week! We enjoyed lots of yummy treats including cookies, milk, tacos, sloppy joes, peach cobbler, cheese, sushi, punch, chips and much more!


Eli Gonzales moves to the finals winning both heats of the preliminaries in the 400 m dash (49.66)and the 200m dash unofficial/stopwatch time (21.94).

After watching the “Good Eats” show starring Alton Brown the Culinary Classes were feeling inspired. Pizzas were tasty!




To celebrate successfully completing their state tests, Miss Bishop's 3rd grade class enjoyed snowcones at Sugar Shak courtesy of Mrs. Royal! We are proud of their hardwork!





Buses will run 15 minutes early.

Attention parents we are monitoring the current weather situation closely. There is a heightened risk for severe weather this afternoon including potential tornadoes. If parents feel like they need to pickup their student they can began doing so at 1:30.
We will watch the weather closely before we release our bus routes. If there is any potential risk we will keep students in the building.
In the event that there is a tornado warning or students have been moved to our storm shelters we will not release any students at that time.
Storm shelters will also be available for the community if needed.

Due to a power outage in Medford, Medford Public Schools will be starting at 9:30am today May 2, 2022. Buses will be running about an hour and fifteen minutes later. Currently, OGE is showing power will be back on around 7:30am. We will continue to monitor the situation.

Congrats Skylar Anderson for placing 1st in the Discus! She’s heading to State!


Eli Gonzales with a clean sweep of individual events winning 1st today in the 800 m run (2:01), 400m dash (51.57), and the 200m dash (22.0). He will run all three events next week at Western Heights for state!


After shooting a personal best in tournament play Colton Cink qualified for the 2A Regional tournament in Sapulpa this coming Monday. He will play 36 holes to try and qualify for the state tournament! Congratulations Colton!


Here is an order of events for tomorrow’s Grant County relays in Medford. We are planning on starting the field events at 9:15 AM. We will be running 2 long jump pits and 2 softball throws at the same time to help move the meet faster.


Reminder: 1st-4th grade Grant County Relays track meet tomorrow, Thursday, @ Medford, @ 9:00 am. Please make sure students have a sack lunch, have appropriate clothes for weather, & pack sunscreen.
