6th grade boys completed a “Cell-fie” Scavenger Hunt around the school today to learn about the functions of different cell organelles!

Currently, we have around 80 students and 12 staff members who are absent today because of illness. School will be canceled Thursday and Friday this week. Students will not be expected to login or complete virtual assignments.
We hope that a long weekend will help students and staff get well so that we can resume normal activities on Monday.

If you purchased cookie dough from the a HS boys basketball team, it is in today! If you are available, please pick up at the school after 2:45 in the gym. If you are not available to pick up, it will be delivered to you later this week or early next week, depending on the availability of the player from whom you purchased. So proud of Chase Abele, Hannah Smith, & Rylee Elson for how much hard work they put in this weekend at the All-Area Honor Band in Fairview, OK. It was a Great concert. You can catch these 3 plus 2 more students in the Red Carpet Honor Band next week in Alva at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Concert is at 1:30
All-Area Honor Band is hard at work rehearsing today and tomorrow. Come out and support our outstanding band students who made the band tomorrow at 2:00pm at Fairview HS. They will be performing with band students from all over NW Oklahoma.
FCCLA raised $1632.00 with Santa’s Workshop. The funds were donated to Wakita Crown and the Medford Ministerial Alliance
The Medford High School basketball invitational tournament starts TOMORROW! If you can’t make the games we have great news! All games for all 3 days will be radio broadcasted from KALV RADIO on 1430 AM or 99.5 FM. You can also watch every game LIVE as well! The games will be live-streamed at www.kalvradio.com with play by play action! Simply go to the above website and click on the Medford Tournament tab!
Games start at 10:00 am and will continue through out the day with the Medford boys starting at 2:00 vs. Covington and the Lady Cardinals tip off at 3:20 vs. Wichita.

The basketball games this Friday with 1st Lutheran for 5/6 and JH have been canceled. When and if there is a make up date we will let you know ASAP!

5/6, JH, & HS basketball team and individual pictures are Monday. Extra forms will be available in the office all week and can be returned at any time during the week with payment. A copy of the order form is attached if you want to send payment with your students Monday.
8th grade students will tour PTC in Ponca City on Thursday, December 2. The bus will leave at 8:05 and return to school in time for students to eat lunch. Please ensure students bring a jacket to school.
