Medford students will be making dignity bibs for the Cardinal Day of Giving. We are needing woven and flannel shirts. If you would like to donate a shirt(s), please bring them to the front office or give them to Ms. Cook.


This week in 4th grade we have been learning about Force, Matter, and Motion. Today we made marshmallow shooters to experiment with the force, the matter, and the motion it takes.





This basket will be available via silent auction this weekend at Bambi’s Battle Bash!



Senior Night will be this Friday, November 5th at the football field. Seniors in football, softball, basketball, baseball, track, golf, and special olympics will be recognized. Parents and seniors, please be at the football field for pictures at 5:45 PM. The senior sports recognition will start at 6:00PM and the football game starts at 7:00PM.

Mrs. Spidell’s Character Ed and Mrs. Guffy’s 2nd grade worked on a stem project today building the tallest tower they could by using only index cards and tape. We love the partnership, competitiveness, and creativity!





Retakes are TOMORROW!! If your child was absent on picture day or wishes to take retakes please dress appropriately tomorrow! There are no forms necessary and there WILL NOT BE SPRING PHOTOS so this is the last chance to get a school picture! Remember to not wear green!


High school band members visited our class today to explain how their instruments make sound. Later this week we will use what we know to create our own instruments.


Don’t want to cook on trick or treat night?!? Junior class is selling walking tacos at the walkathon for $5!! Come support the Junior class and their fundraising for prom!!



FCCLA district meeting


Mrs. Spidell’s Character Ed. class and Mrs. Guffy’s 2nd grade are back at it! Today they buddied up for an activity requiring that they follow directions to create a “Frankenbuddy!”





Make sure you ask the 6th graders which brand of paper towel you should be buying if you want it to be absorbent!! First lab in the books and they are loving it!





Ten freshmen attended UCO’s Freshman Leadership Academy today in Edmond! Such a great opportunity for these amazing students! And an early morning calls for a Starbucks run!

1st Grade won the Spirit Stick at the Pep Assembly! Good job, 1st Grade!



Due to unforeseen issues, the 5/6 grade basketball teams will not be going to the Drummond festival next Monday or Tuesday.
