In the past 13 days the Cardinal and Lady Cardinal golf teams have been busy, playing in 6 total tournaments and headed into the playoffs next week. For the Cardinals, Colton Cink has led the way placing 15th, 29th, and 21st individually against a highly competitive 2A class and some 3A & 4A schools. The boys team will play at Blackwell for Regional Qualifier in a little over a week. The Lady Cardinals have placed 3rd, 5th, and 8th as a team against 2A, 3A, 4A, & some 5A schools. Led by seniors Kailey Lohmann and Skylar Anderson (who both have placed in the top 25 in each tournament) the Lady Cardinals are sitting 12th in the state in class 2A and will play in Regional Qualifier next Monday at Boiling Springs in Woodward.

There will not be a JH baseball game tomorrow, Tues, April 9th, vs Newkirk. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Medford FFA Blue & Gold sausage will be arriving this Wednesday. If your student sold, plan to pick up their order after 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

Very tough competition at the Okeene HS track meet today. It was a very fast field of athletes with competitors from 3A and down. Proud of how the boys performed! There were a lot of new personal bests, and they improved as a group. 4x2 relay set a personal best with 1:36, placing 7th. 4x4 relay ran a personal best at 3:50. Chase Abele threw a personal best 116 feet 9 inches in the discus, placing seventh. Kien Willet ran a personal best 55.7 400m dash. Teague Schuermann ran a personal best 56.7 400m dash. Lyric Horn placed 5th in the hurdles with a time of 19.3 and a personal best. Lyric also set a personal best in the 300 hurdles at 48.

Destination: Summer Learning is quickly approaching! Our summer school program is open to students who receive a referral from their teacher and is based on academic need. Parent letters will be sent through the mail on Monday. We are looking forward to seeing our students this summer!

ATTENTION JH Baseball Parents: Due to the speed of the tournament, the JH baseball games at Pioneer MAY begin up to 30 minutes early today. Games are scheduled for 3:15 and 6:30, so be prepared to be there early.
